Easter Sunday Makers’ Market, West Didsbury

March 27, 2016

The monthly Makers’ Market has rolled into West Didsbury again (always the last Sunday of the month) and this month – March 2016 – it falls on Easter Sunday. This particular market is excellent for a number of reasons – the organisers try very hard to ensure that traders don’t compete with our local West Didsbury independents, there is a rich variety of stalls, all are of really good quality and offer very unique products. The market has grown considerably since it started in March 2014 and on market day, West Didsbury welcomes lots of new (and returning) visitors. The market runs from 11am until 4pm – if you’re mooching around this Easter Sunday, why not pop along to the market and see what the fuss is all about? (And then why not treat yourself to a Sunday roast at one of our local West Didsbury establishments?)

The Makers’ Market is located on the grounds of Withington Community Hospital, on the junction of Burton Road & Nell Lane, West Didsbury. If you’re coming by car, the hospital car park is £2 all day Sunday – a parking bargain and it means you’re not having to squeeze into the already very limited spaces outside residents’ houses.
